02Licence keys are non-refundable once issued

A licence key is generated and delivered to you within seconds of payment. It is a digital product that cannot be returned, recovered or deactivated once it has left our hands. For that reason, and given the unrestricted free preview described above, licence fees are non-refundable once the key has been issued.

At checkout you are asked to confirm that you want your key delivered immediately, and to acknowledge that this ends any right of cancellation. That confirmation is what allows us to release the key at once rather than making you wait.

03When we will refund you

The rule above has sensible exceptions. We will refund you in full where:

• You were charged more than once for the same purchase — we refund the duplicates without you having to ask, as soon as we notice, and immediately on request;
• Payment succeeded but no licence key reached you and we are unable to supply one;
• Your key does not work and we cannot resolve it — if we cannot get the software activated on a supported system, you get your money back;
• You were charged in error, for instance for a purchase you did not authorise.

In each case, contact us within seven days of the payment.

04What is not refundable

• A change of mind after the key has been issued;
• The software not matching an expectation that the free preview would have revealed;
• A licence bought in the wrong organisation's name — tell us instead and we will reissue the key in the correct name at no charge;
• Unused time remaining on a licence, if you stop using the software before the term ends;
• Incompatibility with a system the software is not offered for. Niyantrak Budgeting is a Windows desktop application; please confirm during the free preview that it runs on your machines.

05How to request a refund

Email NiyantrakConsulting@outlook.com with:

• The payment reference from your invoice or licence email (it begins pay_);
• The Group Company Name on the licence;
• A short description of what went wrong.

We reply within one to two business days. Approved refunds are returned through Razorpay to the original payment method — we cannot send it anywhere else. Razorpay typically takes five to seven business days to complete the return, depending on your bank or card issuer.

Refunds are made in the currency charged. Where a bank or card network applies its own conversion or fee, that amount is outside our control.

06Before you ask for a refund, please talk to us

Most difficulties are installation or activation problems that take a few minutes to fix, and support is included in your licence. Write to us first — we would far rather get the software working for you than take your money back.
