What we collect, why, and what happens to it. In short: very little, and never your financial data.

Niyantrak Budgeting runs entirely on your own computer. Your budgets, actual figures, prices, costs, customer and product master data, and every report you produce are stored locally on that machine and nowhere else.
We do not receive, transmit, upload, host or have any means of accessing that information. The application works fully offline. There is no cloud account, no synchronisation and no telemetry.
Everything in the rest of this policy therefore concerns only our website and the process of buying a licence — not the software itself.

Your name, company, email address, business type, the service you are interested in, and whatever you write in the message box.
We never see your card, UPI or bank details. Payments are processed entirely by Razorpay on their own secure systems. We receive only a payment reference, the amount, the method used (for example "card" or "netbanking"), and, for cards, the network and last four digits — which appear on your invoice.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, and we do not send marketing email to purchasers unless they ask for it.
A small number of service providers process data on our behalf, strictly to deliver the service:

Because these providers operate in different countries, your data may be processed outside India, and — for visitors in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom — outside those regions. Where that happens we rely on the providers' own standard contractual protections. We do not otherwise transfer your data abroad.
This website uses a Google advertising tag, which sets cookies to measure whether visits to the site result from our advertising. It records technical information such as your IP address, browser and pages viewed.
We use no other analytics, no advertising networks, and no social media trackers. The checkout and licence-delivery process does not depend on cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time without affecting your ability to buy or use the software.
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, and under the GDPR where it applies to you, you may:

The website is served over encrypted connections. Payment data never reaches our systems. The private key used to sign licence keys is held only as an encrypted server-side secret and is never present in the website's code or in the software we distribute. Access to purchase records is restricted to the proprietor.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever affected your personal data, we would notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
If we change this policy we will publish the new version here with a new effective date. Material changes affecting existing customers will be notified by email.
