Certification

Learn to run a real set of books, end to end, on real software.

Most people finish their exams having never raised a purchase order, matched a bill to a receipt, or watched a deduction land in the ledger. This course is the other half.

The course is being recorded now. Leave your email below and you will hear the day it opens, before anybody else.

What it covers
01

Buying, properly

Purchase order to goods receipt to bill, and the three way match that ties them together. What a goods receipt actually posts, and why received but not billed is a real account with real money in it.

02

Selling, properly

Customer purchase order to proforma to sales order to delivery challan to invoice. Where stock leaves, where revenue is recognised, and why those are two different moments.

03

Inventory and valuation

Moving average against standard costing, lot tracking, and what really happens to your margin when a landed cost arrives three weeks after the goods.

04

GST on the document

Place of supply, CGST and SGST against IGST, input tax that is recoverable and input tax that is not, and how each one lands in the ledger.

05

TDS on the deduction

Which section applies, the thresholds that trigger it, what happens with no PAN, and why a customer paying 5,40,000 against a 6,00,000 invoice has not short paid you.

06

Reading what you produced

Trial balance, profit and loss, balance sheet and the ageing reports. Not how to format them. How to look at one and know what is wrong.

What you get
01

Video modules you work through in order. Each one ends with a short set of questions. You move on when you have answered them, so the certificate means you understood it rather than that you left it playing.

02

Watch at your own pace. Start, stop, come back next week. It remembers where you were.

03

A certificate with a serial number. Carrying a verification address anybody can check, so it is worth something to an employer rather than being a PDF.

04

A 3 month licence to the software. Issued in your own name, so you can practise on a real set of books rather than a screenshot.

Who it is for

Cost and Management Accounting students and Chartered Accountancy students who want the practical half. Commerce graduates going into a first accounts job. Anybody who has passed the papers and has never posted an entry in anger.

No prior software experience is assumed. You need to know what a debit is.
